Your Messenger Verification Code is G- Why i am getting this message continuously: Why did i receive a messenger verification code? Received verification code without requesting it? About a week ago out of the blue around 3AM my time I got a text message saying “Your Messenger verification code is G-######”. I changed my passwords pretty recently, about a month ago. My installation of Windows is pretty fresh too so I don’t suspect there’s anything fishy on my system. I’ve gotten this same text message exactly once a day, every day for the last week or so. The timing is similar but not exactly the same, it’s always between 2AM-3:30AM my local time. I Googled this and saw some others have experienced similar things, but I couldn’t find any concrete information about what was going on and why. Any thoughts on what this is, should I be concerned? What information of mine do they have given I’m receiving these messages?
